Spectacular, rare pair of Hollywood Regency chests by Dorothy Daper. From her 1960's Viennese Collection for Henredon, this "original finish" pair of chests are a remarkable find. Hand-applied finish in an ivory background with a slight strie pattern and adorned with spectacular brass pulls with Acanthus leaf motif backplates. The chests appear to float off of the floor in this remarkable design by Draper.
One pull from one chest is broken and needs repair.
