#1273 Pair of Palm Leaf Torchiere Lamps in the Manner of Serge Roche

Stunning pair of 1970s palm leaf torchiere lamps in cast resin and white plaster, mounted on a white wooden base with styled crystals. Single light fitting with original switch. These Hollywood Regency style torchiere floor lamps are made after the designs by famed French decorator Serge Roche. The tall and whimsical lamps exude tropical splendor with a twist of the Baroque, which originally inspired Roche's work. Heavily constructed round bases with geometric natural crystal shapes are also covered with white lacquered plaster. Good vintage condition with some small chips to lacquer at base and top.
