Large-scale original mixed media painting by internationally exhibited artist Kader Boly. Executed in black with pink highlights on a warm ivory ground, the composition is populated by Boly’s distinctive linear figures, animals, and symbolic forms that emerge and disappear within a network of energetic brushwork.
The work demonstrates the visual language for which Boly has become known: elongated characters, rhythmic mark-making, and layers of spontaneous gestures that reward close inspection. What initially reads as abstraction gradually reveals a lively community of figures, creating a sense of movement and narrative across the surface.
