#2052 Pair of Vintage Model 1515 Armchairs by Ward Bennett for Brickel

Pare of rare, all-original model 1515 armchair by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates. These beautifully constructed chairs feature a solid ash frame with a glossy piano black finish and original patterned upholstery. The backrest has an elegant curve and a grid of square openings reminiscent of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The arms, with a height of 24.25 inches, have a grid of four larger square openings along the sides (each square is equal in size to a grid of four squares on the backrest). The underside of one seat has the original manufacturer's tag. Original upholstery is in very good condition with no stains or tears. Frame is in good condition and shows some minor imperfections consistent with age and use.
